reeecap (FTL)

new term FTL. it means From The Library. at least i have decided to make an effort to blog even without a computer. ya...
be bloggin'

so i wanted to blog the weekend of the isu vs. baylor game. it was really fun. but that's when the comp problems began. it was a good clean victory that the cyclones had control of the entire game. unlike most of the hawkeye wins.
i snapped this pic during the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach. they handed out towels to everyone before the game. the students began to enjoy themselves and people started tying up their towels and throwing them. it started with about a handful of towels. the funny thing is, one person would signal and then a barrage of tied towels would fly from one side of the student section to the other. it was really a cool thing to watch. people behind me started tying their towels and throwing them towards the front of the student section where it was happening. it just kept becoming a bigger and bigger towel fight. i was not about to throw my towel. i'm keepin that! they even mentioned how people were having fun at the game on the post-game-call-in-radio-show. oh ya. we also did the wave. epic
but the main thing that i wanted to blog about over a week ago now, was that right before half time i went to go get something to eat from the concessions. if you have ever been to an isu game, you might have had Cy's Fries. i couldn't find a picture of them, but they're potatoes that have been spun into big shavings. almost chip like. you get a big plate of them with nacho cheese. DELICIOUS. but it was cold out and the cheese got cold fast. only down side
as i was waiting in the really long line, BEFORE half time, (i thought there wouldn't be a line because the game was still going on, but apparently so did 42 other people) i noticed that a lot of people were cutting through the line instead of walking around. at first i didn't notice this because i was trying to peak at the game from the top of the stands, smell the delectable smell of cinnamon roasted nuts, and try to keep my spot at the same time. but when the half ended people came up to get food. and to me, it seemed like %80 of the people walked right in front of me. i mean like right in front. they needed to get through and instead of going around they decided to play cutsies. for some strange reason, i was the person to cut in front of. it started to make me mad! some people said excuse me as they walked by and some didn't. but everyone thought that i would be the best person to walk in front of. i have no idea why. maybe i was wearing a cut me off sign that i wasn't aware of. maybe i looked the cutest, ya that's it. or maybe i seemed like the person to care the least about it. when in fact i did care about it. i was standing the same distance from the person in front of me as everyone else was. i even took a step closer to try and prevent any more cutters. nope didn't work. that was all i could think about while waiting for my Cy's Fries. needless to say, i was peeved. then when i sat down the marching band was dancing to beyonce's song Single Ladies. yes dancing. it was awesome. and they did Jump On It! gotta give it up to the ISUCF"V"MB. the BEST marching band in the state of Iowa!
also the other night i watched Zombie Strippers with my roommate on Spike. it had Jenna Jameson in it. i know right? pass on that movie...

  2. Dude two things: first, the clones may have had control of that game, but dont be comparin' them to the 8-0 Iowa Hawkeyes. All I have to say to that is 35-3. Secondly, you two young gentlemen are sadly mistaken. The best marching band in the state is clearly the HMB!!! Dude, the ISUCF"V"MBWXYZNowIknowmyabc's, they waddle. Enough said
