(sound of a cough)

nobody likes interrupting class. nobody likes being a distraction. but if you have to be one, you might as well wait until someone else does it first right? in class you don't want unwanted attention brought on yourself unnecessarily. i think that some people don't want to cough in class because they're making a loud noise that might bring attention to them. i've noticed while in one of my many lectures that if someone coughs, within the next 10 seconds another person will cough. it's like they are waiting for someone else to do it
oh that guy coughed. its ok for me to do it now

it's like a person coughs and gives the go signal. a single cough is not annoying, like a sniffle. but a series of coughs are. i just think its weird. it may not even be on purpose. your body may hear a cough and just cough. i have no frickin clue. it just seems like coughs follow coughs, like ants.
i've also realized if you change one letter in cough, it can be couch. which has a completely different meaning! or another could be dough. then you take it the next step further and it becomes douch which is how justin misspells douche on the message boards for fantasy football. my mind wonders
