to start off, you guys should give yourselves a round of applause for keeping that string of comments going on on the last post. well done. medium rare.
and now, the story
This morning I was awaken by a knocking at the front door, followed by a long and nasally, "Hellooo?" I was immediately reminded of Mrs. Doubtfire. It was someone from my apartment's rental company, and they were showing our apartment to two prospective customers. Just after she called out, my alarm went off.
This was a problem. A problem because not only was I sleeping, not only because I was awaken two seconds before my alarm, not only because I was sleeping and needed to put clothes on so they could see my room, but because I wasn't aware anyone was coming. Yesterday, two people came to see our apartment. I was informed of this. I was also confused with this though too. I was confused because a few days ago I received an email from my rental company telling me our apartment would be shown on this upcoming Tuesday. Only this email was telling me that the time had been changed, and to disregard the first email. They would be showing now at 2-3. I never received the first email.
Later, I did receive the first email, telling me there would be a showing at 1-2. Since I got the follow up email first, I didn't know what to expect. I tried cleaning my room up a bit, moved some stuff around, put clothes away. My room looked in decent condition when they came. This morning though, I was unprepared. To top things off, my roommate was taking a shower.Yes, we were both unprepared.
She had to walk through the kitchen in a towel while these people stood outside the bathroom so they could see it. I also had to get dressed so they could look at the size of my room, while wiping the sleep from my eyes. This was awkward and uncomfortable. My roommate was pissed too. Great way to start off the day!
In the end, it was an eventful morning. The rude awakening made me want to get out of bed even less. Going back to sleep sounded so good. If only I would have known...
The End
i don't know why i decided to write that all correct and whatnot. very unblaahg-like. but you know, gotta spice things up sometimes. also, i apologize for no mid weak last week. i guess the napping was more important at the time. but don't worry.
Festivities

that sucks about that whole being woken up thing. Reminds me of the time I was woken up by tom randalls voice while he was getting measurements of the walls in my old house. I was in my boxers. It was weird. But that was an amazing midweak dude! That song thing was kinda creepy. lol to that popcorn video. reminded me of the david blaine video. And that last vid was great too. It's so true thats what all evening news stories are like. love it
ReplyDeletesound vid was crazy...and matt weird that u brought up david blaine cuz my friend trent was watching that and it reminded him of david blaine too!
ReplyDeletealso, liked the news video, LOL to that
Ah yes....you're roommate was pissed! Stupid people and their untimely arrival at OUR place. Next time, I'm going to spray them with the shower.
ReplyDeletePs. There should be another one today.
But who really knows.
